Extrapolating from FGs I did a couple years ago, I would think it’s a simpler “Trump = successful businessman -> good economy + me as hard worker/ especially deserving, so will excel and make a lot of money under good economy.”

Nah, he said most of it pretty plainly in 2024, but the media failed by treating the most inhumane and outrageous parts incredulously— by ignoring it, sanewashing, or treating it as bluster. Together the media and ineffective judicial system normalized him. Low information voters went along.
