Hmm, that’s hard to say. Surfer is a little susceptible to telepathy and magic so maybe, but the power cosmic is no joke so I’d say the edge goes to whoever gets the jump. Classic non answer 😂

I have to admit I’m sliding more towards that opinion as the season progresses. I really think this is a story that could have been told in 6-8 episodes instead of 12. Too much drag.
