Here to talk about books and not much else.
Sure. Can do. Thanks for mentioning it. I don't seem to be able to edit the posts I've already posted (Is that right? No editing? ...utterly draconian....) So I'll have to leave those as is.

Good luck when you get to SHIKASTA. Read that for the 2023 challenge and....it was long. Not trying to scare you away, just....it's long.

If you've never read it before it might be helpful. (Remember that it was written in 1870s with language to match.) If you read it in high school and know the general idea, I don't think it's necessary.

Not sure I'm committed to Bluesky yet. Kind of depends on what "masculine energy" looks like over at FB, but it was time find alternatives, so here I am.

I've read the first Wayfarer and thought it was really good. I loved the positivity. I almost feel like I'm saving Becky Chambers for when I need her in the future.

I think Percival Everett is my favorite modern (meaning 'alive') writer. JAMES was the third or fourth book of his that I have read and I can see where people get skittish since HUCK FINN is sacred literary ground, but I loved Everett's take and thought he came to the characters with a lot of love.

Hi...Same. Very new to Bluesky. Looking for a centralized page. Never cared for the hashtag-y nature of Instagram. Do you know if that exists here?
