And honestly the main problems aren’t on agreeing to a price on the front end. It’s all the cost/failure to cover/etc. once someone actually needs it. Even with the ACA premium assistance, I couldn’t afford all of my medications because they wouldn’t cover certain drugs for folks on ACA plans.

It will also require the House to be in session so the new Rep(s) will be sworn in (one way or the other).

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a total s**t sandwich but there was no “winning” move here. People ask why wait, because if the election results weren’t enough to budge the GOP, then nothing will.

I don’t think it was about that they’ll be more likely. I think they’ve realized they will never concede. Killing the ACA has always been a priority. Forcing a vote will get the GOP on record though. Plus you get SNAP fully funded through Y26, even though this only funds the govt through Jan 30.

The Electron has a 300kg lift capability, which is nowhere near the lift requirements of the needs of a G7 country.

Should also mention the USDA has told grocery stores they can’t offer discounts to SNAP users (using the equal treatment rule ironically) even though they could grant temporary waivers to help folks out.

I literally don’t ever flash my hi-beams at other drivers for having theirs on because I just know that no matter how blindly bright the lights are now, they can always go brighter.

This means when NASA launches a mission the computers are using tech that is 10-15 years old. While a pure data center may not need the latest and greatest, these orbiting ones will not have the same capabilities as ones here on Earth.

I remember he talked about this during his 1st term. Not sure if folks in the Pentagon distracted him enough for him not to do an EO or if he actually did one they just slow rolled implementing it. Have to imagine no one is left in order to stop this one.

Hope they pursue discovery hard with RFK et. al. about how they decided they go after Tylenol of all things.
