I do believe that deep fake technology should be regulated. Any use of AI should require a disclaimer. This can be similar to political ads needing to identify who paid for the ad. I think the government is the one who needs to regulate it, the same way the regulate everything else. #UWJ201 #305

I do think that this discovery still remains true. Typically it is radicals on either side who don't like government and believe these theories. I don't necessarily believe that conspiracy theories are more common to believe in, but they are definitely more popular with social media#UWJ201 #305

I don't think so because the corporations can still control the news stories. I think it comes down to reporters of different races are more comfortable covering topics about their own race. #UWJ201 #305

I often notice it affecting other people's lives. People will talk about a city being super dangerous, when I have gone there my whole life and never felt in danger. #UWJ201 #305

I think is does change people's perception. If a bill that you know nothing about is passed, and you here it called extreme or radical, you will agree. In turn, if the bill is called common sense, then you will also likely think it is common sense. #UWJ201 #305

I think relevance is the most effective. If someone tells me to "act now" on an issue or item I don't care about, it won't push me towards purchasing. #UWJ201 #305

I think that traditional media still holds ultimate control. This is because they have larger staffs that can uncover stories and reveal them to the public, a luxury that most people on social media don't have. #UWJ201 #305

I think that the variety of news we consume is the same, however less in depth. With our phones, we can see the same number of stories in a fraction of time. However, many people will read the headlines and nothing else, making the quality far less. #UWJ201 #305

I don't know if it is entirely ethical, but there shouldn't be restrictions. As long as networks don't lie, there shouldn't be a problem with their opinions. There needs to be money in news in order for it to operate, so saying that we need to get the money out of news is hypocritical. #UWJ201 #305

I think this doctrine could be useful but should not be used. It is up to the consumer to make sure they get a fair distribution of news. However, a pro would be that all people will have to see more neutral news, but a major con is that it involves government censorship. #UWJ201 #305

I think the question has some merit, and may be true in some instances. However, I think with the impact that tiktok has had on America, especially the youth, so many people care about the ban which is why it was covered so heavily. #UWJ201 #305

I think, as the saying goes, all press is good press. Especially for candidates that don't start as the front runner like Trump, it is important to generate any attention you can get. #UWJ201 #305
