I am having a wonderful time with Desmos for figures for my class. I used to use Mathematica or Maple, but somehow Desmos seems more convenient. Here's a nice example for implicit differentiation.
A Desmos screen shows the equation y^3-4y+x^3-9x=0 with the graph of that equation, a red line forming a twisting sideways "S" curve on a grid with x and y coordinate grid lines at every 0.2 units.

Going to try to post a picture of a bush with the reason we don't have so many mosquitoes. I want to try to post a picture with content warning, and haven't done it before. However, there is no option for "possibly disturbing content."

The first impeachment resolution includes the following impeachment articles against Justice Thomas: 1. Failure to disclose financial income, gifts and reimbursements, property interests, liabilities, and transactions, among other information. 2. Refusal to recuse from matters concerning his spouse's legal interest in cases before the court. 3. Refusal to recuse from matters involving his spouse's financial interest in cases before the court. The second impeachment resolution includes the following impeachment articles against Justice Alito: 1. Refusal to recuse from cases in which he had a personal bias or prejudice concerning a party in cases before the cort. 2. So, every so often, I go back to Twitter to look and find that there are still some good things to be laughed at. This is a quote-post preceded by the remark, "They're going the wrong way you utter dimwit."

So what I'm reading is that I could photoshop little hats on a bunch of frogs and snakes, create the new genus _herpetohattus_, and start firing off species, _herpetohattus johngeorgeii_, and name others after my wife, my son, and my cats, and immortalize our family!

Just checked out Wikipedia's Kirk/Spock page, and laughed at this quote. "Longest-lived and most prosperous," indeed!

Saw this, thought of your Bishop character from the Paladin/Saint of Steel novels. Thought you'd get a laugh.
The "old guy argues with young guy"meme. Old guy in panel 1 labeled "Former BBEG" says "My reason for reforming and taking the Oath of Redemption is just as good as any other." Angry young guy in panel 2 labeled "Paladin" says "No, your reason is supposed to be something sacred and meaningful." Older guy in panel 3 yells, "So what if I changed because I wanted to motorboat the arch bishop's huge honka-donka bazongas!"
