I'm more than a bit sick of the media seemingly normalizing what is obviously a move to the middle with some future political office in mind.

I wonder why we don't hear a mass call for the house to impeach Kennedy. I realize who's in charge there but people could start screaming for it.

Given the position the GOP is taking regarding the social safety net it would almost seem like they don't expect to have to face another election.
