Ugh. The beagle learned his yearly lesson. If you, said beagle, are in the flowers in the morning where there are a gazillion bees when you are chasing lizards, you beagle may have some very angry bees sting you in the face. Poor guy apparently is in a LOT of pain too.

I teach this every year It's my favorite lesson. What I do is have my students perform a detailed analysis of the Gast painting and contrast it to Laura Younbird's stunning piece called Manifestation. A native artist with a more realistic take on what really happened with Manifest Destiny.

My state rep in TX won his primary by saying unequivocally that he was against vouchers in Texas. Time and time again he said he would do what was right and vote against them. He was a no vote on Tuesday, OF THIS WEEK. Well guess what, holy shit he voted for them.
