For me, Michael and Peter are obviously cool but Mike and Bill are def dorks. My god, Michael’s reaction to Mike when he first met him was ‘no, not this dork.’ And Bill was all unibrow and pastoral. All lovable, here, the cools and the dorks, though Peter has been known to get out of hand. I ❤️ REM

I’d put REM in the ‘two dorks, two cools’ category. Michael & Peter being the cool ones and Mike & Bill being the dorks. Mike Mills is king of the dorks, really, and also the band’s secret musical genius, bless him.

It’ll always be Davey’s # to me but would have been very happy if it were Jr’s. Aesthetically it is better than the 88, too.

The current format does so much in terms of narrative olympics that it’s hard to get a sense of the reality of any given team’s performance and where they stand.

Most of the season, Larson did not seem like a major contender. In a full-season championship system, the story would have been ‘Larson is still up there in the points, who can challenge him?’ This is why it seems like a blindside championship.
