I own and operate a printing business, but also sell hurricane impact windows, plus legal insurance and identity theft protection.

I’m a left-leaning centrist independent. I fully support diversity, equity, and inclusion, and wonder why anyone wouldn’t.
I've stopped watching CBS News. I can no longer rely on them to report the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

All social media should be banned until Americans can prove they can think for themselves.

Friday afternoon my 2001 Ford Taurus had a spark plug blowout! It literally popped out my #1 spark plug with a loud POP that destroyed the threads the spark plug screws into. The car is now at the repair shop, awaiting a thread repair kit. I hope it works!

Politicians don’t seem to realize we don’t want evidence that Jeffrey Epstein was a rapist & child molester. We already know that. What we demand to know is who the politicians, millionaires, and celebrities were who molested and raped young girls so we can throw them in prison.

Does Ford Field (home of the Detroit Lions) look like the inside of a factory or warehouse on purpose? Is it supposed to be a tribute to Detroit’s blue collar industrial heritage? Or did the Lions just build it as cheaply as possible?

Star Trek: The Motion Picture is just a big budget remake of the original series episode “The Changeling”. An Earth probe sent into deep space centuries ago is found damaged by an alien race, repaired, gains sentience, and sent back to Earth in search of its creator to fulfill its programming.

Trump’s current state of mind along with his recent statements and actions remind me of Dr. Janice Lester from the Star Trek episode, “Turnabout Intruder”.

55 years ago today, Elton John performed live at The Troubadour Club in Los Angeles, California in support of his second album, titled Elton John. The music and entertainment industry were overwhelmed and impressed! This launched Elton John’s career in the United States.

Trump was hoping today’s nationwide No Kings protests would break out into riots so that he’d have an excuse to occupy Democratic cities around the country.

Too bad for him that ANTIFA, if that even exists, are anti-fascist true American patriots.

Ever since my hair turned gray (honestly, since I stopped dying it with Just For Men), in many pictures I look like I have no hair at all, especially my beard. When I was young, I had dark brown, thick, wavy hair!

The Marlins weren’t eliminated from playoff contention until game 159 out of 162. Not bad for a team who many predicted wouldn’t win 60 games! I take FULL CREDIT for their improvement this season! I gave up on the Marlins in 2024, but they suddenly got hot when I began following them again in May.

I discovered a gentleman, David Cay Johnston, @davidcayjohnston.bsky.social, who beyond any other human being mirrors my own core beliefs on multiple levels. In my brief perusal of his posts and statements, I have yet to find anything I don't completely agree with. And I thought I was alone.

The problem with raising the minimum wage is that "The Top 1%" is unwilling to make a little less profit, so they use higher wages as an excuse to raise prices.

I’m 64. Both my parents died at a younger age than I am now. I don’t know how much longer I have, but I hope and pray that my final years don’t come under the Trump regime. This is not how I want to go out.

What’s with the recent trend (maybe a generational thing?) of people saying “purposefully” instead of purposely? For 64+ years, I never even knew that purposefully was a real word!

For the first time in over 10 years, I've come down with a cold. I don't know how, because I haven't left my apartment in a week.

No Contest: The BEST band from among all the late night talk shows is Louis Cato and The Late Show Band. That's been the case for several years, especially going back to when it was Jon Batiste and Stay Human.

HARRIS 2028! My support for former Vice President Kamala Harris didn’t end just because she lost a rigged election to Trump and Musk. I still support her vision, and unless someone else comes along who I relate to better, she’s my candidate for President in 2028.

Remember the time when talking about politics lasted 3 months every 4 years before the presidential election? It’s 3 months since Trump infested the White House, and the partisan bickering still hasn’t stopped! This is just the beginning of the 2026 election cycle. Let’s go back to the way it was!

I’m still trying to figure out what to use this BlueSky app for.

1. Argue with complete strangers about politics?

2. Make new friends who have common interests?

3. Just to keep in touch with family and friends — none of whom have even heard of BlueSky?

What do YOU use this app for?
