Quick search of the Chinese interwebs turns up the source (TikTok 3 days ago), which has a “generated with AI” disclaimer in top left. It has an air of believability because in qingdao, at their beer festival, you can get beer in plastic bags with a straw. This seems like the logical next step.

I already have multiple copies of this text, but I couldnt turn down the chance to have it in this snappy edition for four bucks. Best looking by a mile. The antinomies are presented in side by side two column. Nifty.

Book titles used to just be abstracts. Then we invented titles, and the abstract got moved down. In scholarship, many titles end up abbreviated (CPR, ToJ, etc). These are names of the titles. We have names of titles, titles, and abstracts now. Next is to create icons for the names of the titles.

Ohhhh, so that’s probably why just thinking dimly on that line delivery and moment in the movie is enough to reduce me to a weeping mess, shplurbling bubbling catharsis juice out of all of my ducts. Good to know.

I think this speaks volumes. It’s cited as some kind of horror, but in the hands of a different writer the exact same facts could be marshalled to elicit wonder. The scene is so Tove Jansson, so moomintroll, even the writer can’t contain the poetry in the image (quietly disembark on the pebbles).

The amazing thing about this record is if you try to dive deep into the compositions with your ears, most of the time you have no idea what any of these sounds are. Just Autechre level sound design.

Out like a light. Kant always does the trick. Got up to section 2 of the transcendental aesthetic. At this rate she’ll have the whole CPR under her belt before she’s 1.
