The second meeting in June was a quick one as we had already discussed our two big ticket items, the budget and LCAP, last week. Our board is on summer recess and will not meet again until August. Happy Summer!

Our second board meeting of the month will approve many of the items we have already discussed this upcoming Thursday. There will be no closed session for this meeting so we will begin promptly at 7 PM.

Another Measure Y Project is done! We have had significant investment in Agnes Baptist Elementary over the last 2 years and I’m so proud to represent the school. We are building a truly amazing campus for the All-Stars!

I'm so excited to be elected to serve as Board Clerk for 2025 alongside Trustee Garcia who has been elected Board President for 2025. There is a lot in store for Stan Union this year and I'm looking forward to keeping our district on track. This year's priorities include: (1/4)

Thursday will be the last Governing Board Meeting of the year. We have a lot to discuss and wrap up before the holiday break. We will have our annual organizational meeting and elect our new Board President and Clerk followed by our regular business meeting. Open session begins at 7:00 PM.

I'm super excited that another Measure Y Project is now completed and opened to students. At a time when most districts are shrinking and suffering from declining enrollment, Stan Union continues to grow! Our district continues to light the flame for the future!

Exciting news! Another Measure Y School Bond Project has been completed by Stan Union Schools! I'm excited to have another bond project come in under budget and allow us to continue to expand our services and serve our growing enrollment.

November seemed light on the number of agenda items but we definitely had plenty to discuss. Exciting things moving forward for facilities, student services and the child nutrition department. December will be our annual organizational meeting and I'm looking forward to ending the year strong.

This Thursday is the monthly Stan Union Governing Board meeting! We have two topics I'm super excited about - our Facilities Update (which will be significantly accelerated due to the passage of Measure R) as well as the initial discussion of a Safe Routes to School Program (SRTS) (1/2).
