It might depend a bit on whether you have been baptized or confirmed in another Christian branch, but look for Catholic churches in your city with OCIA - it's basically a class for non-Catholics to become Catholic. However, it's contents and standards will vary a lot from church to church.

It is a very complicated story, but lot of white ethnic parents discouraged their children from speaking their native tongue in the deracination wave of the 20th century. My grandfather spoke Polish, but he didn't want my mother to speak Polish.

Great list! I hope that Iga is guest judge on a Top Chef episode dedicated to fruit pastas, Aryna the Tiger becomes the official mascot of LSU Womens' sports, my local sports bar gives at least one TV to Mboko vs. Alea at IW, and Kateřina Siniaková gets more media attention than Morgan Riddle.

Great list! I hope that Iga is guest judge on a Top Chef episode dedicated to fruit pastas, Aryna the Tiger becomes the official mascot of LSU Womens' sports, my local sports bar gives at least one TV to Mboko vs. Alea at IW, and Kateřina Siniaková gets more media attention than Morgan Riddle.
