If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Fantastic post by @bitecode.dev arguing that AI has not fundamentally changed the fact that young developers have to learn some way, that "some way" is different with AI, but we've all been there, so let's acknowledge it, embrace it, speak our wisdom with humility, and keep hacking.
Vibes coding is fine. And yes, the kids suck, but so did we. Let's appreciate we got new players entering the game, and focus on what's really important: improving safety nets.

Best use case for AI in my phone would be to answer for me to all those f*** robot calls and telemarketing scams and keep them talking for a veeery long time for no reason
