If your prompt specifically baits the model for learning styles, that's what you'll get. If your prompt doesn't include that bait, you'll get something different. I'm not sure that asking the model to correct the user who is asking a bad (but not unsafe) question is the way to go.

On the other site, @emollick.bsky.social has a good thread using the analogy of access to AI as a calculator in a math class: sometimes helpful and not always appropriate depending on the stage of learning. The tools' existence requires some level of change in the classroom.
