One person ends birthright citizenship with an executive order. Next is running for a third term. Without Congress we effectively have no Constitution.

I don’t understand how the threat of a government shutdown carries any weight with people who want to drown government in the bathtub. It’s an asymmetrical negotiation. All that’s accomplished is making Trump’s power, to determine what and who is essential or not, official.
