Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment
Another fantastic Warriors game, but if you aren't already a fan of the subgenre, I don't expect this to change that. It's a great game for a niche audience, and a butter smooth 60 FPS is the cherry on top.
Also, gotta shout out that amazing story finale. DAMN.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment

This is very much an iteration on Age of Calamity, but the new weakness and counter systems add new depth to the combat.
And MAN it feels good to play a Hyrule Warriors game at 60 FPS again after AoC was stuck at 30 (at best).

Potential hot take: I think the Galaxy games are worth $35 each, so the $70 physical pack is worth it to me.

My first experience with the Trails series, and I gotta say...yep this demo sold me on the game.

Gotta say, Mario Kart World's Rainbow Road might be my new favorite in the series.
3DS Rainbow Road still has that crown for now, but World's is right up there.

Well, yes, but the problem is more nuanced than that. The average consumer DOES NOT HAVE that kind of money. People are starting to realize that as the price of goods around the world goes up (part of a fair and balanced society), our incomes have NOT increased to match.

But...I can’t (yet) in good conscience agree with $80 for Mario Kart World (outside the console bundle). Yes, not every game is gonna cost that much. Yes, a $60 game in 2017 would cost $78 today, so $80 is closer to a proper inflation adjustment. But holy crap, that is not a price I can recommend.

It's been a week since the Switch 2 Direct and price reveal, and I've yet to post my thoughts here on Bluesky, so I'll try to sum them up in this thread.

Never got chance to finish this game on Wii U, but I promised myself that if Xenoblade Chronicles X ever got a Switch port, I'd give it another shot and finish the story.
