Here's Freya shortly before we gave her the last gift in 2022--metastatic breast cancer got her. She left us with cheese (her favorite food) in her tummy, and I still miss her a lot.

Younger offspring dug up some of the familial horseradish. The main root extends under the patio, so it should rebound quickly.

This ferocious creature was one of the results of a couple of random shelter cats who didn't get broken in time. She likes to sit on my shoulders, flop against the side of my head, and purr. So standoffish!
