ii) daptomycin’s ability to cluster fluid lipid domains requires cell wall precursor lipids whilst membrane depolarisation does not, and finally, the Bacillus IM30 protein LiaH seems to play an intriguing role in clustering these daptomycin-cell wall precursor lipid complexes. (2/3)
