80 years ago the world found atrocities committed to the Jewish people
It is horrifying to witness similar conditions inflicted now by the government of Israel against Gaza population
The world cannot simply just protest
GOVERNMENTS MUST ACT

Once upon a time, Hollywood used to make movies depicting unfair detentions and degraded prison conditions outside the US, in third world countries - as they were called by then.
It is shocking and saddening to witness this happening now in American soil 😞

As in Canada, Trump's strategy backfired in Brazil. Even one of Brazil's most prominent right-wing newspapers called the tariffs "mafia-style" in its editorial and today urged Bolsonaro-supporting governors to break with him as a condition of "decency, civility, and commitment to national interests"

I cannot think of a single author, musician or artist that had crafted their work thinking that it would be taken by AI to be reproduced infinitelly without payment or, worse, have their style copied to produce new pieces w/o prior consent. If a single person would do it, they would be put in jail.

Brazilians call this type of disconnected fragments of law embedded in a big package, to be passed unnoticed, as "jabutis" (tortoise), a reference to a tortoise spotted on top of a tree... It cannot climb trees, so someone put it there, in a place it shouldn't be.
Didn't expect jabutis in the US...

The work of Hayao Miyazaki and Ghibli's Team is a testimony of how the dedication to their art and the love devoted creating each of their characters can be fully perceived by the audience, deeply touching our souls and conquering our hearts. AI may steal style, but won't ever achieve this.

What amazes me the most is that opposing voices to Trump, when denouncing the lack of due legal process prior sending the Venezuelans to El Salvador (Trump's Gulag), were shouting out loud that same procedures could be used against American citizens. Then Trump reassures them by tweeting this...

Last year a Catholic Priest, Padre Julio Lancellotti had to replicate Jesus' anger in the Temple to break stones placed by Sao Paulo (BR) City Hall under bridges to avoid that space to be used as shelters by homeless.
Same kind of thought and behavior... 😞

This is a fruit typical from Northeast of Brazil.
We also drink it as a modified version of "Caipirinha", the Brazilian traditional drink, made with lime, sugar, ice and cachaça - Brazil's spirit. The variation uses caju (the stem) instead of the lime.

Both are delicious, though the fruit-like stem has a strong astringent taste when eaten directly due to high tannin content. It is industrialized as both juice (just squeeze, add water and sugar) or "cajuina", the juice after a process to remove tannin. Cajina taste resembles a lot the apple juice.

What a balm for the soul to hear Fernanda replying to a destructive campaign from her own fans against Karla Sofia Gascon! Instead of recrimination, softness, tenderness, embrace. We need this in our world! 💕

This reminded me when I visited the American Museum of Natural History and found an amazing ant colony there. The guide told me fascinating facts about it. Most impressive one: ants and fungus are interdependent. The ants only eat fungus, which grows on the leaves brought and "prepared" by ants +

Qual a repercussão lá?

Jennifer Aniston faz parte do elenco.

Excelente! Tudo interligado!
