"We have evidence that [Guzman] would make vacuum cleaner noises as he sucked up all the cocaine" claimed Patel, saying he would then "get very big and red and stomp around" his Guatemalan hacienda. "He shouldn't be locked up. This guy never hurt anybody, and this has nothing to do with a bribe." Patel continued, accidentally. He then requested to be referred to as "Kash Money" for the remainder of the press conference.

Another gradual lunch break doodle. I was thinking about what a swimsuit for Delphani would look like (she can't go into water), but nothing fashionable would fit anyway, so here she is at the beach in the largest trunks they had and a big ol' life jacket.
Delphani in a rare instance having her arms, throat and belly uncovered. She is wearing only an oversized life jacket, and a pair of swimming trunks which are being stretched to fit her poorly. She is holding a bucket containing a beach spade in her right hand, and in her left is a beach umbrella. Her tail is wrapped around the shaft of the umbrella to imply she had been using it to keep it off the ground while walking. Her stance is wide and stable, but unsteady. The umbrella has been allowed to drag and dig into the sand, as if to allow it to brace her if she needs it at any moment. Her arms are wrought of mismatched patches and metallic bits; there is a valve where it connects to her body. Her trunks are not big enough to fit her entirely, they are pulled up only to below where her tail would be; the rune of her womb is exposed, and the zipper to access her amnionic storage can mostly be seen. Her throat is uncovered (would not be allowed to happen, there would be condensation of gases and flash freezing of water vapor but this is a silly picture and not canon. She would never be at the beach. She cannot go into water without becoming entrapped in ice. The sand would get into the crags of her arms and be impossible to clean. She would be wearing her sleeves. She would be wearing her scarf. I would have liked to make a big straw hat for her too. That would be cute.)

Today's gradual workplace oc doodle: Delphani cannot speak, nor really make facial expressions, so she uses body language to express her emotions when she wants to. This means she's happy!

Today's Delphani doodle is for Mother's Day. Happy Mothers' Day, everybody.
Delphani resting on her knees, gently holding her belly which is distended as though pregnant. She has a peaceful expression. I haven't really drawn her with her abdominal cavity filled before, which is funny considering her character exists as an allegory for bodily autonomy in the story she exists in, but I ended up falling in love with drawing her in general. She has no gastrointestinal tract nor digestive system, her cavity is one enlarged amnion bonded to her greater omentum. On her right side that is covered by her sleeves and obscured from the camera is a zipper (I've considered different mechanisms for opening it but haven't really bothered that much because it's a weird thing to think about) which gives access to her amnion. She's a golem, and her organs have different runes that dictate an effect they have. Her heart has a rune that keeps it at 0 Kelvin, and her womb has a rune that causes mutation. Her body is therefore both a freezer and an incubator. She has an ability to cause biological chaos, which is invaluable for research into creating inoculations for new strains of plagues before they appear naturally. Boy, I can't wait to continue never writing any of this for real. I've been drawing her for years now, and this is the first time I've drawn her actually doing the thing she was literally designed to do. Happy Mothers Day, I guess.
