Why is this "league table if only open play goals counted" suddenly a thing now? Where was this energy when Liverpool were grabbing 95th minutes winners? I didn't see a "league table with no added time goals"...

At this point, it feels like a social experiment to see how far they can push it...

In #MathsToday my students were put into groups and asked to complete some proofs using trigonometric identities. Really pleased to see students supporting each other and encouraging some of the quieter students to share their thoughts on the whiteboards. #ALevelMaths

Couldn't help myself when I heard there was a pop-up half court installation at Somerset House, had to check if I've still got it. Good to meet the guys from www.halfdecentday.com too

Had an unbelievable birthday weekend in London thanks to my incredible better half. A once in a lifetime experience, Club Level tickets at the Emirates to see a 3-0 win and then a brilliant evening taking part in The Traitors Live experience.

Club Level at The Emirates is no joke, what a strike from Zubi but so impressed with Merino and Mosquera, faultless.

Not strictly #MathsToday but I was asked to spend time this afternoon sharing strategies with colleagues around how to secure strong A Level outcomes, here is what I talked about..

In #MathsToday both Y2 A Level groups consolidated understanding of functions with some exam style questions before being introduced to the Modulus Function, with some basic sketching and solving. Really liked all the skills tested in this functions question...

Doing a bit of fundraising so we can afford to purchase new equipment for our junior basketball club. @wolvesbasketball.bsky.social

Celtics and T'Wolves already taken, the rest are available. £4 to enter, can win £50.

Would appreciate any support.

Spent the last week putting together our Teaching & Learning Handbook for 2025/26. Created my second one-pager a specific one for what a "Do Now" activity looks like for us. Looking forward to a Summer of reading and research around staff and student culture ready for September.

After a really productive Lead Practitioner strategy day yesterday, I spent today redesigning and restructuring our Teaching and Learning handbook. Some refinement left to do but happy with what we came up with as a team.

My youngest thinks he's Declan Rice, technique is solid for a 6 year old though. Sign him up Arsenal 👀

In #MathsToday myself and a colleague planned our Half Term revision day for #ALevelMaths focusing on Paper 1 AQA, managed to get a schedule out to students so they could see the value of coming in for the day. Spent a fair amount of time sorting resources for it too!

In #MathsToday alongside supporting our GCSE resit students with some final preparation, I spent a bit of time re-designing the introduction lesson of an upcoming topic for my Y1 #ALevelMaths students, using only #OneNote and snipping parts from our booklets.

In #MathsToday I had a "very light" teaching day so I created a 12 page A5 booklet to support our students with revision strategies, key focuses for our exam board, common pitfalls and exam advice. Hope our #ALevelMaths students find it useful!

In #MathsToday my Y1 #ALevelMaths students reflected on the AS Papers we had set for them over the Easter Break and after some discussion we collected a list of areas of difficulty so that I can include them in "Do Now" activities over the coming weeks...

Y2 started Kinematics in 2D (I ♥️ Mechanics)
