I am very happy to announce that this Fall I will be starting my position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Lethbridge. I am finally returning home to Canada, and the Prairies that I love.

In this perspective paper, we argue it's time to move beyond the framework of category selectivity (while building on its insights) towards one that that prioritizes the behavioral relevance of visual properties in real-world environments. 2/3
