I find it so hard to track non-billable hours. Partly because I tend to work on a dozen things at once when I'm not focused on meeting a deadline.

😂 I've considered a switch, but for now just try to keep things pinned to my wall or at the edges of my desk where elbows and notebooks are kept at a safe distance

That's a good one for sure! It was one of my 5 tips last month and one of the most important steps!

It goes both ways! Sometimes those template emails/text expanders help take the effort out, but only when my brain has capacity to get to that step 😶‍🌫️

My guess is that clients may feel they need to provide some kind of thoughtful response, but then life happens. It just feels ominous to not hear anything!
