had to get in to half only down 1. I get setting up defensively but as you said, there's no way to counter without passing, pace, or some possession. Argh.

it was only every going to be good if Spurs got the first goal. Had the Rice shot gone in, it would have been even worse.

FIFA and UEFA can try and recreate this with more and more matches, but a bit part of the drama is the jeopardy. More gams can't create the last minute beauty for Ireland and Scotland nor the heartbreak for Hungary and Denmark.
