Anytime I waver on renewing my subscription because I miss having a hometown newspaper, I soon see something like this and my resolve returns.

I stopped cable news in the am years ago as I was getting ready because who wants to start every day mad. Switched to NPR and it saved my sanity.

My son died of leukemia when he was 5. There were times he couldn’t get his chemo on schedule and it’s darn scary. Leukemia doesn’t wait on your schedule and it will grow any chance they get. This makes my blood boil and my head hurt for this family. Shame on those damn thugs.
