This would make a great rotating format. Call it Classic: cards are legal following the Legacy ban list and nothing from 10 years or newer. So from today it would mean cards from 2014 on back. I'd brew that... But then again I'm classic 😂

I could only assume this change comes now ahead of Lorwyn to allow their upcoming designs to fit the commander format. Shadowmoor is where they invented hybrid mana after all. Also this has been on Maro's list for a while, and now that WOTC runs Commander, the change was inevitable.

Sadly, these TMNT villains are not villains. At least, Spider-Man's villains don't think so. (This is the problem with introducing a 'villain' subtype)
