Same. Wife came down the stairs and we saw the replay at the same time. But I was looking at his knee and she saw his elbow, so we had totally different reactions.

I was a casual watcher of those movies. I enjoyed them, but didn't usually see them in theatre and didn't seek them out the moment they came out. But I had a friend who texted me after he saw Endgame in theatre and just said, "Go watch it with a crowd." And I'm so glad he did, for that exact reason.

This was it for me too. I was all in no matter what, but his was a name non-soccer fans knew and could recognize. Him coming home, after an established career in Europe, felt exactly that, instant cred for the Sounders.

Had one in our house growing up and loved it. Found one a year back and brought it into my house now too.

Can't miss Cottage Bakery in Long Beach. Great sandwiches for lunch...and you can still see the stools where my grandpa and I would sit after sneaking out of the house in the mornings for doughnut runs 40 years ago. 🥲 2nd part may mean more to me than you, heh. But my recommendation still stands.
