As we get closer to the end of winter, I offer this poem.

Consider how you spend your holiday dollars. What is important to you? Sustainability? Gathering with friends and family? Feeding the capitalist fake holiday greed system?

This arrived in 2018 from a pile of literary magazine scraps. I so wanted it to be prophetic, but alas, it remains aspirational.

Sometimes this is how I feel, and that's okay!
