Generally Thu & Fri. Stingy places will just do Thursday, but even at most of those, people will take Friday with personal PTO.

It felt very fancy, but it was also a lot more feasible than connecting through Minneapolis and landing at Chippewa at midnight!

We had friends who got married in the UP back in 2019 and another friend literally coordinated a charter plane to get all the people from Chicago there so we didn't have to figure out how to carpool 30+ people to get up there. It was obviously more expensive than driving but made it so much easier.

It's also one of those memetic drinks that will have multiple folks order it once they see it because of how it looks, so you're likely committing the bartender to making a couple.

Ugh, I've been wanting off it for awhile. On it still for a local town news group and then a cat foster group, the latter of which I don't have enough seniority in to get them to move off of FB. Not sure what to do about the former, Nextdoor isn't evil but it's just tumbleweeds and spam.

We got delayed doing it after getting married in April 2019, then got some thank you cards printed with honeymoon pics to send out for our one year anniversary. Needless to say, I think they're still in a box under my desk somewhere...
