Probably not the people with the broadest shoulders but they are mostly happy to pay a bit more for the benefits of children, education and health, unlike the wealthy who protest the loudest about any income tax increase. The wealthy are the meanest in our society.
“The OBR estimates that 780,000 more people will be brought into paying income tax in 2029/30. Are those the people with the broadest shoulders?”

Aged nearly 70 I can confirm that childhood sexual abuse ruins your life. You can’t erase the memories from your mind. There’s a permanent knot in your tummy. You live life in survivor mode thinking that you’re dirty and disgusting. You never enjoy sex. It’s a lifetime sentence. Believe the girls.

Perhaps it’s not that Kier Starmer won’t support Palestine but that he can’t. Which begs the question who controls our government’s narrative and why? The people who voted for his party are angry and declaring that they’ll never vote for Labour again because of this stance.

The men who claim they focus on Pakistani rapists because they “care” about women are the same men who revere Trump, defend Russell Brand and praise the Tates.

The issue is men.

Not one singular culture, religion or race weaponised for political clout.

Men.

"Only about 5% of new homes built in the UK last year were fitted with heat pumps, despite these being much cheaper to install during construction than to retrofit. Only about 13% of newly built homes were fitted with solar panels in 2023"

Quite happy to remove Aljazeera from our TV,s so it is possible to sensor when it suits.
Message to UK government: X is not willing to regulate this insane and deliberately inflammatory content because the CEO of X is the man disseminating it. Therefore YOU need to show some actual political backbone and ban X from operating in the UK.

The thing that requires experts to find a cure for is greed/power. What is it about accumulating vast wealth that makes a human want more? Cure that and most of the world’s problems can be solved.
