It’s not easy. Plus, she lives in Georgia and I’m in California so I don’t see her frequently. She remains as active as she can which tells me she is doing relatively well. My nephew is in Georgia also so he and his family drop by often.

I remember watching a partner with a devastating illness and seeing him suffer. I understand what you are feeling. But, as this is your mother, I know it’s harder for you. My mother also has copd and emphysema.

My depression comes and goes so, I’m not on anything at this time. I’ve learned to manage my anxiety my meditation and avoiding my triggers, like the news. I have other health/age related concerns, nothing major, though. And I’m on meds for those so, too many meds can often become ineffective.
