Planning to indulge fringe opinions of callers who like the idea? If not, it’s really not much of a discussion. If yes, it has no place on a national broadcast program. If you you want to pursue this kinds of inflammatory discussion it might be better done in the public sector. Get a podcast.

Not sure which Ning Hao film you’re referring to but during COVID (though after Chinese cinemas re-opened) there was an extended period of extremely conservative theatrical distribution. There was a huge number of films that stayed on the shelf in favor of explicitly ‘main melody’ (主旋律）films.
