As a woman of color, I need to leave the US with my family before this happens, and I could use help in figuring out how to do that. I am neurodivergent and my executive functioning is not what it should be.
when the mass round ups begin what are you prepared to do? protest/ get arrested if need be? organize your church, shul or mosque to provide sanctuary? it's good to start thinking about it now.

Free speech is a beautiful thing, but when a billionaire thinks his voice is more valuable than yours and steps on your opinion using their vast wealth it creates an inequality that we really need to address.

The preliminary sequence from the H5N1 human case in British Columbia has been posted and it is not good news. The virus potentially has a quasispecies at HA residue 226 (H3 numbering). This is bad news because we know that mutations at residue 226 can increase binding to human receptors. 1/

Indeed. When they rounded up the Japanese Americans, myself and my family included, for internment during WWII out of fear over Japanese spies and saboteurs, two thirds of us were U.S. citizens.
