It’s been shite this year and pretty much everyone has been too whether their own decline or the rest of the set up. If you don’t trust Pep to sort this out you’re on another planet. Criticising Pep Foden and so on is fair but they’re the best we could ever ever ask for and will be again next year

And yeah an off season is totally okay in the grand scheme of things. It’s just how are we going to deal with and missing out on CL is probably a bit more than an off season with wider ramifications.

Lots of people were saying this. These signings and are we getting things back together it’s clearly not happening this season I agree. Spending 150 million so far without addressing the one problem is clear negligence. And the jury is out on these kids and how much Pep will even play them?

Too many people happy with shiny new toys. Does anybody think two nobody defenders are gonna fix this? People were genuinely positive about the window so far and that we’re moving in the right direction after beating Leicester Salford and Ipswich. Pathetic all round.

Fairs mate I hope so. I would say two of the defenders are kids and we have absolutely no idea how they’ll do but giving a rest to main lads could help. And the midfielder option which we were all confident about seems less likely by the day. Lots of things need to go right I think nearly too many.

Can’t see it being comfortable at all. Liverpool is a given so are Arsenal, then that’s us Newcastle Chelsea and Forest fighting for 4th. Newcastle and Chelsea are in much better shape and if Forest don’t fall off it’s going to be seriously difficult.

This is where we are at now. This is the level and every time I think about it the more outrageous the last two windows have been. Genuinely need 6/7 new players quality/ injury prone wise.

Great pod as always this was lads. Cathartic to really blast through all the problems/ solutions. The pod reinforced what I’d been thinking the last few weeks about the defence being a problem for numbers and reliability. So much work to be done. Exciting though at least…
