rate my card alters

1. too many categories. there's meaningful difference between sandwich and cake? quiche and calzone? gimme a break
2. rigid categories. i don't see any flexibility for edge cases

to fix these pressing issues i present a modest proposal for a food classification system, the SSS FOOD CHART:

the Soup-Salid-Sandwich diagram, an edited version of the triangular soil type chart where percent clay has been replaced by soup, percent silt has been replaced by salad, and percent sand has been replaced by sandwich

so i've seen this chart floating around before and yeah it's cute but i have issues with it.
it's a fun visual but i don't believe it's actually useful for classifying food. my issues with it are thus:

an illustrated diagram of "the cube rule of food identification" containing 8 distinct cubes with different labels:
1. "salad," a cube with no faces highlighted
2. "toast", a cube with just the bottom face highlighted
3. "sandwich," a cube with top and bottom faces highlighted
4. "taco," a cube with bottom and two opposing sides highlighted (like a taco shell)
5. "sushi," a cube with top, bottom, and two opposing sides highlighted, creating a tube of sorts
6. "quiche," a cube with all but the top side highlighted
7. "calzone," a cube with all faces highlighted
8. "cake," a cube with three parallel planes stacked on top of each other

the thing these nerds miss about art is that its all subjective and personal. if you experience something as art then it is! when you try to rigidly define art, you get a definition thats either useless, way too long, or racist (pic unrelated idk how to delete)
