I really like it so far. I tried out a few minutes of it, and it's fun. Also, the game runs beautifully, even at 1920×1080 resolution, with full color. 🥰🥰🥰

Played through the entire game today, getting all of the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic 2 is absolutely an improvement over the original. Better pacing and more consistent difficulty. The game has a sort of kinetic energy to it. My only gripes are some of the special stages, and the challenging final boss...

Well, I was trying to play Sonic 2, and uh... well, I got all of the Chaos Emeralds and was playing with Super Sonic in Hill Top Zone when I got to the end of the stage. I performed a glitch where Sonic transformed, but then went to his walking sprite, and I soft locked the game. 😅😅😅

Played Sonic 1 again to get back into my Sonic Marathon here on BlueSky. For the first game of the series, it's designed pretty well, despite the hurdles. My only real issues are the inconsistent difficulty and overall pacing between levels. But in general, this game is okay. Not great, but okay.

After playing the game a few more times, I think I have come to the conclusion that when you are just going through the motions and playing the game at your own leisure, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is a fantastic Sonic game, and better than Sonic 1 in almost every way. 1/2

I have finally put the finishing touches together for the HP Compaq setup with Windows XP installed. As you can see, by looking carefully, every component from the monitor, to the keyboard, to the speakers, the mouse, right down to the very machine itself is all HP branded.
