Reflect the light.
Reject and indict
The acolytes
Of violence.

#4thofjuly #poem

Today we celebrate
Independence.
Celebrate
inter-dependence.
In a world inclined to self, flagellation,
today I celebrate the
un-alien-able
and the release of peace,
on the 4th, the 5th and the 6th.
Tonight, I light candles that soar
and for each Friday night in pursuit.

Resurgent Rhapsody

The overlapping #administrations play competing compositions, each considering their body of work,
one at an erasure #keyboard, depositions beings scheduled,

what will endure, what will be repealed?

Schemes

accepted, with a ruminating dote.

FF…..X…..X…..X…..X…..X

(Thanks to JA Prufrock rhyme scheme).

…to remain warm in the tumble of seasonal adaptation. Yet, some take refuge under/overpasses that serve as roofs, under which tents flex in the wind asking newsprint to buttress the clamor.

Micro #poem with #Minnesota #photo for Sunday night #poetry readers.

There’s spindly beauty in December air that inverses the summer and emulates the troposphere, summoning inner resources…
