Fell off my Amazon boycott for a long while ngl. But starting again. waiting a little longer to get things directly from the manufacturer. Did this for some cleaning products recently and got a couple freebies. Remember reward programs? Need to fall all the way off Amazon again and revisit that era.

Something nice I noticed while visiting my parents house was the number of crossword puzzle books my mom has. She *could* download an app and do these on her phone or tablet but she takes pen to paper to do puzzles. It looks so peaceful. I feel like we're losing simple hobbies to technology.

Re: Theatre work-- I didn't "finish the year strong" in December, and I'm not "hitting the ground running" in January. Last month was quiet and this month is also quiet. Love that for me and my team ❤️😌

So far: After muting as many brands, celebs, influencers, other content from my IG feed, I'm only left with suggested posts. Are real people not posting anymore??

Experimenting with temporarily muting all brands, celebrities and influencers on IG. I want to revisit the era of my feed being people I know. I miss seeing glimpses of people's lives. We used to complain about pictures of food, now I miss it. Everything is branded content and sales now.

I scrolled on IG and counted how many posts (following, ads, suggested for you, etc) until I found any post by anyone I know personally, from real life. It took 71 posts. I kinda miss when social media was about your own social circle(s)
