Because when everything is wrong and nothing will ever be right for just a moment a hug from mom can make everything alright. When your spiraling she is always a safe place to land, even when you think your unlovable, the good, and the bad. There is no love like a mother's for her child.

Good thing the baby store doesn't do returns or so, my mom said. Cause I needed my best friend, my favorite person, my baby brother so much today. Today was hard, and I'm sure there are many more hard days ahead. But we smiled, laughed, and just for a bit, my heart didn't hurt. Love you, baby bear.

Can I go home now? I am tired, and I know for a fact that my napping buddy is all snuggly in my bed. I request permission to go home and join her.

There is only floof between those ears. There is not a single thought behind those eyes. But sometimes, a singular braincell graces her, and she has an entire existential crisis till it hits the bug zapper, which is a thought beginning to form. Then we are back to floofs.

Because I spent the majority of my day doom scrolling about the all things federal government. I got on here, and it's all cats, which made me a lot happier to scroll, so adding one to the pile to brighter someone else's day.

Okay, I'm aware I missed #Caturday, but my feed is full of cats, and I just wanted to join the party.

I'd rather be in bed sleeping with my favorite blankie hog who snores. But I also like to play new video games, need food to eat, and paying my bills so here I am sitting at work wishing for 4pm already.
