Game no 15 completed for 2025 #Spiderman #PS2 well after about 20 years I finally finished this game and it wasn't worth the wait. Ambitious in its attempts for the time and the hardware but it's because they failed that I rate older Spidey games better than this one.

I have to admit I was sceptical about it but #AbsoluteBatman #TheZoo is an amazing read from start to finish. This new interpretation of Batman gives the character a new direction for fans old and new. Looking forward to reading the next installment early on the new year.

#Invincible vol 1 is a fun read. I like Kirkman's work on TWD for the most part but this take on superheroes is really good.

Game no 14 completed for 2025 #MassEffect2 #PS3 a good game but after putting 50+ hours into it I'm not sure if it's great. The story is generic sci-fi and the gameplay is good enough but there is better from games of that gen. Well worth a play through as you can see how it inspired other games.

Game no 13 completed for 2025 #AstroBot I love this game! I'm not a platforming game kinda guy, but this was just amazing from start to finish. Challenging in parts but not overly so. It's a rarity in that it makes you feel like you are amazing at the game.

A nice addition to my collection. A Luke Cage graphic novel #Everyman is the ground level superhero story that you expect Luke Cage to be involved in. One of my fave collections simply because of the 'villain' and their motivations.

Game no 12 completed for 2025 - #SpiderManMilesMorales a good addition to the Spider-Man franchise. Fun gameplay and an interesting story. The only negative is my main issue with Spidey and the obsession with unmasking him to everyone. Insomniac have nailed the Spidey games in terms of comic fun.

Game no 11 completed for 2025 - online multiplayer FPS games aren't my genre of choice. I always set myself a target level that I want to achieve especially if they don't have a story mode like this game. It's fun if you like this genre of game but I found it very repetitive.

Game no 10 completed for 2025 - Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League. I'm a big DC and Rocksteady fan so this was the stuff off drama. Who knew that the team that made the Arkham games would make a looter shooter. Who thought it was a good idea? It plays ok for what it is but it's a disappointment.

The Housemaid's Secret - an interesting read which doesn't quite live up to the previous installment, but it is still a fun and easy read. I also like the direction that this story went in which made it less predictable.

Game number 9 completed 2025 - Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. It is actually a "could not finish" due to a bug that I encountered near the end which makes the game crash. Very frustrating because I enjoyed most of the game until the bug.

Game no 8 completed 2025 #LifeIsStrangeTrueColors an ok story that goes left in the last couple of chapters. It is also a bit buggy and not next gen in its gameplay or visually. A nice change of pace though if you fancy playing something a bit different.

Game no 7 completed for 2025 #TheEvilWithin I see how this could've been a contender for Resi's crown but gameplay design ruined that. Most of the chapters are ok but the lack of ammo coupled with poor level design is infuriating at points. Still worth a play if you like survival horror.

Generation X - Survival of the fittest. An interesting book for a first time reader of the new generation X Men. A couple of old faves but loads of new faces with interesting backgrounds and story arcs. Main plot was ok but seemed a bit disappointed in parts.

Games no 6 completed for 2025 #GodOfWarRagnarok is a really good game for fans of the series. It's more of the same insane action and stunning graphics with a few puzzles thrown in. My only negative is that it feels overly long.

Cyborg vol 1 The Imitation of Life was a good read. Interesting introduction to the character that could've done with a bit more pre Cyborg character building. It does suffer from not having a recognised villain but I'm guessing that this is expanded on in the other vols.

Mainly because of the hype from watching the excellent TV show, I decided to read this book. It was very interesting but very dated and didn't seem as in touch as the TV show. Not sure if I want to read any more in the series now.

Game no 5 completed for 2025 #GhostOfTsushima #PS4 is a really good game. The story has its faults due to weird choices made by the antagonist but it's interesting. My only gameplay issue is the fighting mechanics aren't smooth and sometimes inconsistent.
