Yes, it seemed like a no brainer to keep him. The Jays already knew Scherzer might be in trouble AND Lovelady was struggling before they gave up on him. I just don’t understand the thinking behind it.

Absolutely. @sarahkendzior.bsky.social wrote a book about it with that title, less the expletive. What drives me nuts is that even though these clowns failed to hold him accountable he still could have been crushed in the election but way too many of us have lost the ability to think critically.
