It's a dell latitude, with an i5 4th gen. I upgraded it to 8gb of ram and added a cheap 200gb ssd for the OS and a 2TB HDD for data storage. It's good enough for one or two streams with no transcoding

Amazing. I'm curious to see the specs of said old laptop, if you don't mind telling. I started doing the same but I started having performance issues quickly, so now I only use it for jellyfin with a VPN and a database for a project I'm developping.

Hey, I'm glad you talked about this because I was planning on testing it out. Now I'm conaidering simply doing a hyperland rice instead. Do you mind telling what you replaced it with?

There are still ways you can bypass this, by using rufus or by pressing shift+F10 and then typing "start ms-cxh:localonly" in the terminal. But those are workaround. "Hacks". You shouldn't need to do shit like this for such a basic feature

The ebay listing for this was advertised as the full series. I did find it weird that there would only be 6 dvds... Oh well, time to search for the rest before it's too late. No wonder it was so cheap

Exactly. And even with other streaming services that let you purchase movies for you to keep, they can totally decide that it's not actually worth keeping on their servers and take it from you

Well, having said all that, I was still kind of disapointed this morning to find out that he was alive and good. I do want to see him face the consequances of his actions, but above all I want him out of office as soon as possible
