I commend Ubah greatly for how she handled that. Im not always a fan of how she reacts to things or her doubling down on negative behavior, but I felt there was a great deal of care and compassion in what she said to Brynn at the end. It seemed comforting

Just because your film is trying to make a point, even one that has a “no shit” kind of point to the audience, it doesn’t mean it’s good. That movie was like one of my top 5 worst things that happened to me in the pandemic.

Literally talked to a friend yesterday about how much I loathe “it could be worse” and people who use it. Such a bullshit statement that tries to paint someone’s feelings as being selfish.
