Interesting interaction with my P. murinus tarantula. Mature male, mellow disposition and never given me a defensive posture before. I love the tippy tap foot sounds!

A wheel bug found in Virginia.
An assassin bug and the largest true pmbug in North America. It pierces its prey with the large mouth part, injects a dissolving enzyme, and sucks out the liquefied insides. Its bite is painful and long-lasting, but unlikely.
