Anybody ask him how high-school kids in Canada are going to be playing a different game, or is the CFL going to be moving goalposts for all schools?

...and if the Tigers played .500 (instead of how they played) Cleveland would have been 4 games back. How did Vogt impact that?

First Ribeye I ever had and loved it! Our family used to go there on every once in a while. Good memories.

That was from the MLB network. Some of the analysts were calling them that.

Game 7 and these Jays are a great bounce-back team. They got this and will win today!

You need to include fees with that too. I am willing to sell tickets I can't use at face value + any fees I get charged. I am not willing to lose money to sell tickets.

So is yours.

No. I believe in momentum. I believe it is not black and white. You won't believe it because you only look at the numbers provided to you and think everything in baseball can be explained by statistics.
October 29, 2025 at 1:12 AM
Again proving my point. I believe there has to be a feel to the game and managing a game. From what I gather you believe that stats justify everything. What do players think about being "on a roll"?

We'll just have to disagree on this.
October 29, 2025 at 1:07 AM
And how did that work out?
October 29, 2025 at 12:58 AM
You are exactly proving my point. I believe you to be in baseball. A guy is 4 for 4 (which sure can be called recency bias but also a hot streak). You believe that he will regress to the mean (over time yes). I believe that he is on a roll and likely to continue and that should be accounted for.
October 29, 2025 at 12:49 AM
I am not trying to insult you. I just think there are too many people in baseball who cannot see what is happening in front of them. In the first 4 at bats last night the Jays had a 0% result of getting him out. If the choice (as described today) was to pitch around him just walk him.
October 29, 2025 at 12:23 AM
I do that all the time!
October 28, 2025 at 11:56 PM
Oh. I get it. You are one of the people who think that history and stats are more important than what is happening in front of you. So glad you are not managing. It was a bad idea to pitch to him and still is.
October 28, 2025 at 11:48 PM
Bad idea? Have you seen what he has done tonight?
October 28, 2025 at 3:55 AM
If it were Judge they would have walked him. He is having an unbelievable night. You HAVE to walk him there IMO. Changed the momentum of the entire game. Stupid decision.
October 28, 2025 at 3:02 AM
WHY THE HELM ARE THEY NOT WALKING HIM??? If it were Judge they would have!
October 28, 2025 at 2:57 AM
No one gives a shit.
October 27, 2025 at 10:09 PM
Bean him next time.

One of the best pitchers in April/May. Horrible since August (or is that too small a sample size for them).
October 18, 2025 at 1:35 AM
Especially bad ones.
