This team has me pretty demoralized in regards to their ability to create the chances and score the goals necessary to win games. I’m seriously doubting whether I want to attend the Wednesday game against SKC, because I don’t want to waste my night if these guys aren’t even gonna put up a fight.

100% agree! I’m imagining something like the “follow” function on Spotify where each actor, director, writer, etc. (maybe even studios) have their own profile that you can follow and potentially set it up so you get notifications when there is news about them or a new film of theirs is announced/etc

Dang, out of those I’ve only seen Sorry to Bother You, and I really liked it!

The Florida Project has been near the top of my watchlist for a while as well, but the other two I’ll have to move up as well.

Honestly so sad to see that even a statement as obvious as that is only able to garner applause and support from half of the room…

Seems they must have data showing that if you just add more ads, people aren’t gonna stop watching YouTube, they’ll probably just become accustomed to more adds, or finally buy YouTube Premium. As someone who has been a Premium user for years, I love it, but forcing it on people like this is gross.

To be fair, there are plenty of movies and TV shows where people commit SA, murder, etc. as well. Just because something is bad doesn’t mean it should only be allowed to be used in art (movie, show, book, etc.) if it’s an integral part of it. Idk, this seems like excessive policing of creatives.

They clearly haven’t read the books. Ciri & Geralt are essentially co-main characters in the novels, with most of the focus being on Ciri in the later ones.

The margin of error was +/- 3% per candidate, meaning the polls said one of the two candidates was going to win by less than 6%. They nailed it. Quit saying “the polls were way off”. The polls said it was a very close race and either candidate could win by a slim margin, and they were right.
