My point is our leaders and everyone needs to quit talking about legal orders orders that are immoral extremely politically motivated that would cause harm to American citizens in discriminately or outright illegal are all orders than an officer should question or decline to follow.

Officers are not sworn to “follow legal orders.” That is the enlisted oath. An officer swears to defend the Constitution and to exercise judgment grounded in the Constitution, UCMJ, and the laws of war. Their duty is not blind compliance. Eg an order that is “legal” but immoral is to be questioned
