It was a confusing rant because I’m not sure what the joke was. Surely he wasn’t serious, but it also didn’t come across as a total joke. Not sure what the end game was with that. That said, who cares about disrespecting a criminal organization like the Catholic Church.

He pivoted. He went from “carbon tax carney” to “he’s gonna bring it back, I swear”. His entire message for the past couple years was Trudeau and the carbon tax suck. Once both were taken away, he had no idea what to do. You know, the kind of quality a country needs in a leader. 😂

Now it’s up to carney to come through with his promises. If he does that, he should easily win a majority next year election. This was still a massive swing from -28 to winning a minority government.

That point I will concede. If you will ever get a left leaning POTUS, this will be the time. Don’t get me wrong, I hope I’m wrong and all those candidates you mentioned are great, I am just skeptical. I thought for sure no one was stupid enough to vote Trump and look what happened.

I am a liberal voter. I am ecstatic that my country voted for carney. But even up here in Canada, which is known as a left leaning country, the liberals didn’t win by much. There is no chance your country is going to convince enough center/right voters to vote for someone considered far left.
