As an Appalachian trans man living in poverty with working class roots who lives in a working class town and lives a working class life, I don't think she'd last a day here. Someone would say something genuinely transphobic to her at the bar and she'd short circuit. She's embarrassingly out of touch

Like maybe the problem is our hyper-individualistic culture that rewards the selfish and demonizes community building and isolates people and treats empathy like a character flaw.
